Mina is an internationally accomplished dancer and choreographer who has been performing across the globe from Europe and The USA, to The Caribbean, Asia and Australia where her career began.

Mina’s training began at age 5 and spans over various schools in Australia, Brazil, The USA and Cuba. Some of these institutions include Brent Street, Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, Escola de Danca FUNCEB, Alvin Ailey, Steps and Compania de la Danza Narciso Medina where she has studied Modern dance, Jazz, Hip Hop, Afro Brazilian, Samba, Folkloric and popular Cuban styles among others.

Whilst living in Australia, Mina founded and co-directed leading World Dance Company “Mélange Dance” between 2005 and 2008. As a teacher Mina has taught classes in various dance schools in Sydney, as well as dance companies in Havana and Santiago de Cuba and at the National School of Art in Santiago de Cuba.

Since 2009 Mina has been living and performing in Cuba. She is a dancer in the world class Cuban Modern dance company “Teatro de la Danza del Caribe” in Santiago de Cuba and performs with the company in Cuba and internationally.

During Mina’s visits to Australia she is performing artist with Rhythm Brazil and her diverse, extensive experience makes her a valuable asset to the Rhythm Brazil ensemble.
